The Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics is an integral part of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW. Therefore the mission of the Faculty emerges from the mission of the University, and includes:

• educating the students to develop and complement their knowledge,
• educating the students to prepare them for a professional career,
• developing in students a sense of responsibility for the Polish state, for the strengthening of democracy and respect for human rights,
• conducting scientific research and development and providing research services,
• educating and promoting the academic staff,
• promoting and developing the scientific achievements, especially in the broad domain of computer science and econometrics,
• creating conditions for the development of physical education of students and their participation in cultural life and scientific research,
• supporting the local and regional communities.
